This is my new shoe repair place. It's a small shop that is usually bustling with business. They are black-owned and have done great work on the shoes I bought for repair/enhancements. On two occasions, they were able to accommodate my request to add heal savers the same day. Today, I brought in a pair of Kenneth Cole shoes (Model Name: Cap It Off) for a sole repair and cleaning that I love and have had for over 20 years. I was impressed that the gentleman recognized that the craftsmanship of the sole (leather) was unlike today's shoes and offered an option of rubber or leather. I chose the original craftsmanship. I can't wait to get these back. Because I literally wore a hole in the sole, I have not worn them in close to 20 years.
