The art of shoe repair is slowly disappearing because of the nature of commerce and manufacturing offshore. So I'm quite happy that I can find a shop like this still in business. But not all shops are the same. The quality of work is not always great. As a surprise, my partner bought me some cute shoes, but he failed to measure my ankles. I don't have the thin sexy ankles that I once had at twenty and thirty. Those days are ovah. I was told to take them to College Park Shoe Repair and they did an awesome job in finding the color to add more length to the strap. I can wear them now without worrying about whether my ankles recognize that I ate more sugar or salt for the day. 😂 Give us free said my cankles.... . I mean my ankles.
